Jessica Chastain continues to shine during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

This evening she wore a heavenly gown to the ‘Lawless’ premiere.

Her nude flowy chiffon Gucci gown sparkled with gold embellishments cascading down the dress.

I get a sense that she’s enjoying the red carpet more these days, as she seems to be switching things up often — starting with a minimalist Alexander McQueen gown, and now we have this embellished stunner.

Jessica’s long red wavy hair was accented with a Chopard white diamond cluster.

I knew the colour pop for the ‘Lawless’ photocall was temporary and that Mia Wasikowska would opt for a dark colour for this evening’s Cannes Film Festival premiere.

Wearing her cropped hair in a braided bun, the Australian actress glided gown the red carpet in a J. Mendel Fall 2012 gown.

Her plum textured v-necked gown with a gathered center and draped sleeves, without the cut-out, was simply styled with Chopard diamond jewels.

Normally I find it hard to warm to Mia’s red carpet style, but I love this gown on this occasion.

Berenice Bejo attended the ‘Lawless’ premiere during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival at the Palais des Festivals this evening.

This was her first appearance on the red carpet at the festival since she opened the event on Wednesday.

She went from the sublime to the ridiculous wearing a Prada Spring 2012 custom gown.

The mishmash of runway pieces to create this gown is comical.

“Let’s stick the patterned bodice of the bodysuit with the pleated two-tone skirt and we have a winning Cannes look.”

No Miuccia, no.

I was very excited to see Leila Bekhti strike a laidback pose for the ‘Jury Un Certain Regard’ photocall during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival at the Palais des Festivals earlier today.

That’s because she was wearing a Carven Fall 2012 skirt I have been coveting since it hit the runway during Paris Fashion Week.

I was intrigued by what pieces a celebrity would pair with this slightly high-waisted velvet skirt featuring a Middle Ages-inspired print, as I wasn’t that crazy about the blue silk shirt worn on the Paris runway.

I think I prefer the simple white shirt that Leila selected. It’s more clean, crisp and summery.

Navy peep-toes completed her look.

Marta Gastini attended the ‘Dario Argento’s Dracula 3D’ photocall during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival at the Palais des Festivals this morning.

The Italian beauty wore a summery Marni Spring 2012 dress.

Her lemon dress with a plunging neckline has a double band which enhances the silhouette; giving the bell-shape-styled skirt a fifties twist.

A signature eclectic Marni necklace with resin beads and a black satin tie fastening was styled with her dress.

Marta also accessorized with other Marni pieces including heels with a U-shaped, wood-sculptured heel and a tan fold-over clutch.

A curled short do and a neutral lip colour provided the finishing touches.
